We did this activity in class where students reviewed the numbers and the amount of things. I had previously made chibi characters of some of the 一年生 teachers and I use these characters intensively in my classes. In this activity, I ask "how much are Mr. Matsuda's trousers?", "They are 21 dollars."  "How much is Ms. Nagahata's cap?" "It's 68 dollars."

Later we had a speaking test where the students, in pairs, memorised the lines and presented.

After lunch, I went back home to change to some cooler clothes because it was too hot and I went to the city hall for our monthly MEP MAP meeting. Brian, Lily, and Scott presented some of the things they do in their classes and honestly i was kind off caught off guard because i was a few minutes late because I had to find the building and I needed to ask the front desk for help. I also didnt know we were doing presentations now, but anwyay, i think its good to get some ideas from the other ALTs and maybe steal some of them and make them my own.

One of them presented about a particular pyramid pronunciation activity where they checked the pronunciation of two words with a one sound/letter distance from each other like light and right. red and led. another activity was the bomb game with for example "i can" and then different boxes with bombs drawn at the baack and students will say the sentence pattern and choose one box eg I can eat spicy food and if they choose a box with no bomb, they are safe. 

i think i will use this activity but i dont want to use bombs, maybe i will use a skeleton head or a radioactive something. also the losing teams maybe can change where the skulls are positioned so they are still part of the game. And in the beginning i will ask the students to stick the skulls on the cards that they want and then I shuffle it. I maybe put a number in the skulls so if you are group 1 and you open your own bomb, you are safe. I maybe give each team 3 hearts so they have 3 chances and maybe special boms where they can choose gty
